Montezuma's revenge for having too much fun!

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything but right now I'm sick. I got sick last night with you-know-what. On top of which I think I'm getting a cold. I've taken some Imodium and am waiting to see if things clear up but I'm thinking I'll have to break into the Cipro tomorrow evening if things aren't looking up.

Right now, I'm not having very much fun.

Will post more later after I feel better and tell you about the mixed review I give our trip to Panajachel and Chichicastenago.

Please write if you are keeping up via this blog as it makes me feel connected to home.

Love,
mel

Hey, Mel, sooo sorry you aren't feeling well. Remember the BRAT diet if you can stand the thought of food...Bananas...Rice... Applesauce and Tea or Toast. The fun will come back you are just gathering strength for your next adventures.

What about the hurricane or what ever they call it in Guatemala? I heard about it on the Weather Channel and then nothing. It was supposed to be really severe with mudslide warnings and flooding. I hope you and Eddie are in a safe area.

Things here at home are good. Sara is coming home for a week the end of June. She said we did not need to be in Arizona this time of year. The heat stops much sightseeing and we are not acclimated as she is now. She needs a break from her insanity of work and school. The insanity of a week back home will make her glad for the other.haha

Well, I'll go for now. I had a plaque to send with you, but I didn't get it mailed in time. I'll give it to you when you get home, but for now I'll type it here. The wording is not me, but perfect for you and Eddie.

I prayed for you today, gave thanks for your life, wished you the best, asked the heavens to bless you with good health and happiness. I sent you good thoughts, surrounded you with hope and faith and love. I asked the earth to be good to you, and I asked God to show you His perfect way. I prayed for you today.

Like I said it's not worded as I would have. But when I pray for you and Eddie I also ask God to send angels to protect you. So know you all are loved and missed even though there are miles and days that separate us. The bond is still there, and always will be.

Love you, Diane

Thanks for the note, Diane. I would email you personally but I don't have your address with me. Send me some mail at my insight address and I'll write to you.

It's good to hear from you and I'm glad Sara is coming back for a visit. You know it'll only make it harder on her to go back to Phoenix tho' - she'll get un-acclimated. heh-heh!
